We left Madison @ 6 pm in the mini van Mildred. Greg and Heidi had it in "pristine" condition. Loaded with 5 bikes and 4 humans (me, Greg, Heidi and Val) and gear for 5 people for about 18 days we headed into the sunset. (Sorry Linda aka Sag driver we didn't pack anything for ya, no food, no tent but heaven knows we should be able to find a thing or two from this rolling pile).
The sky was beautiful yet a bit ominous, perhaps a sign of what this grand adventure will be.
We accomplished our first day's mission of making it past the Twin Cities . First night stay, St Joseph, MN. Breakfast and on to Canada🚵
