We woke up to a few showers, but otherwise our rest day has been mostly dry, with just the sound of thunder far away.
We split into 2 teams:
-laundry and napping (my team)
-Mildred recon of possible FSR bridge washouts and alternate routes
We haven't met anyone yet that has or is planning to bike through the Flathead River Valley. Everyone has taken the Fernie "alternate" because of the rough trails and bears. I'm keen to see all or part of the Flathead River route, but we'll decide tonight what is a reasonable plan for us given current conditions and our equipment.
